Introduction to the Satsport Terms and Conditions

General Terms

The platform reserves the right to modify these terms (including any related documents) at its discretion. In cases where the amendment is minor, prior notice may not be provided. However, significant alterations to the T&C will be communicated in advance, and you may be required to reconfirm their acceptance of them before they come into force. If you disagree, it is advised to cease using the Service, with termination procedures being applicable. By continuing the utilization of the website, you indicate their acceptance of the changes. Any unresolved bets at the time of the updated T&C taking effect will adhere to the previous rules. 

Your Obligations

Before registering, each user agrees to certain obligations. You must ensure the following at all times:

• You are over 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement;
• You are in a location where betting on the website is legal;
• You do not reside in the USA, French Republic and its territories, the Netherlands, Iran, North Korea, Singapore, Albania, Zimbabwe, Yemen, Syria, South Sudan, Panama, Pakistan, Nicaragua, Myanmar, Mauritius, Haiti, Jamaica, Cambodia, Botswana, or Barbados;
• You are the rightful owner of the payment method used;
• You are responsible when it comes to paying betting liabilities;
• You act on your behalf as an individual, not representing others or engaging for commercial purposes;
• You acknowledge the risk of losing funds when gambling and take full responsibility for any losses;
• You avoid any conflicts of interest while using the platform’s services;
• You use the platform only for legitimate betting and do not manipulate markets in a way that compromises the integrity of the Service;
• You do not use any information obtained in violation of any laws;
• You act and make payments in good faith.

Registration

Registration and verification are mandatory processes for all members of the platform. They include providing valid identification and proof of address. All betting activities may be suspended until the company receives necessary information, as per gaming regulations and anti-money laundering laws of India. You must fund your player’s account using specified payment methods.

Here are some of the rules regarding registration you must follow:

• Create only one account (multiple accounts will be closed);
• Provide only accurate information about yourself, including name, address, contacts, and update it as needed (false details may lead to immediate account suspension or even legal action);
• Make sure to protect your email from unauthorized access;
• Keep your contact info current on your account to receive important notifications and updates;
• Change your password regularly and never share it;
• Log out after each session;
• Notify the company immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or breaches.

The platform reserves the right to reject registration applications at their discretion without specifying reasons. Note that accounts without a reachable email address will be suspended until provided.

Acceptance requirements

Upon registering, you must provide their name, date of birth, residential address, contact details (email and phone number). When creating an account, you need to checkbox the following statements:

• I am 18 years of age or older;
• I am playing for myself and using my own funds;
• I state that this is my first and only account on the website;
• I have not self-excluded from any other gambling platforms in the past year;
• I have read and understood the T&C;
• I certify that all personal information provided is accurate and can be verified;
• I understand that providing false details will result in voiding winnings and account suspension;
• I acknowledge that Satsport imposes restrictions on prizes and withdrawals.

Restricted Use

You are prohibited from using the platform’s services in the following cases:

• If you are below the age of 18 years old;
• To gather information through means such as spam, unauthorized framing, or linking;
• To disrupt other customers’ activities or the operations of the website;
• For unsolicited advertisements or solicitations;
• To deceive the company and its clients;
• To collude for unfair advantage;
• To scrape odds;
• To transfer funds between player accounts;
• To violate the platform’s Intellectual Property Rights;
• To break any local or international laws.

Selling and transferring of the account to third parties is prohibited as well as acquiring one from someone. Your profile may be terminated with written notice if the platform’s services are used for unauthorized purposes.Legal action may be taken in certain circumstances.

Protection and Processing of Information

Any information you provide is safeguarded and processed according to Satsport T&C and Privacy Policy.

The identity of individuals placing bets through the website will not be disclosed unless legally required by authorities like the police or financial entities (banks). Disclosure may also occur if permitted by the platform’s Privacy Policy.

Upon registration, your details are stored in the Satsport database. Your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to jurisdictions with differing levels of protection. By registering on the website, you consent to such transfer of your information.

Your Account

Accounts are accepted in various currencies. All balances and transactions will be displayed in the one chosen at the registration. Credit is not extended for the usage of the services.

Satsport reserves the right to close or suspend the account, refunding any money, if you are found to be in violation of the T&C, or if there are reasonable grounds to believe so. It may also lead to the cancellation or voiding of bets. Advance notice may not always be feasible. The profile suspension without prior notice is also possible, with all funds returned. However, in such cases all existing obligations will be honored.

The company retains the right to refuse, cancel, restrict, or limit any bet at any time, including those deemed fraudulent or violating the platform’s regulations.

Mistakenly credited amounts remain Satsport’s property. Upon notification of such errors, the amount will be withdrawn from your account. Overdrawn profiles result in debts. In such cases, you must notify the customer support. Other reasons to reach out via  [email protected] include:

• Self-exclusion from the platform’s services;
• Setting wager and loss limits;
• Request to close the account.

Payments

The company reserves the right to use third party electronic payment processors. By using their services, you agree to be bound by their terms and conditions as long as they are brought to your attention.

You are responsible for all payments linked to your account. They must be made transparently, without attempts to cancel them or actions resulting in third parties canceling them in order to evade legal obligations. You are responsible for reimbursing us for any refunds, refusals or cancellations of payments initiated by you and for any related losses.

All transactions conducted on the platform are subject to rigorous due diligence to prevent possible money laundering or terrorist financing. Any suspicious payments will be reported immediately to relevant governing authorities of India or country of residence.

Deposit of Funds

You can deposit funds into your account using the methods listed on the website. Note that they must be legally obtained only. Deposits must match your account currency. Other currency deposits will be converted at the platform’s bank exchange rate.

Fees may apply to both deposits and withdrawals. Any investment not rolled over at least 3 times incurs a 3% processing commission and possible withdrawal one as well. You are responsible for any bank charges.

Satsport uses third-party processors for credit and debit card transactions. Approval from the card issuer is necessary for crediting your account.

Funds that are held in your balance have no interest on them. 

Withdrawal of Funds

You can cash out your account balance within specified limits, with potential fees. Withdrawals should match your account currency unless specified. Identity verification may be required at the discretion of the company.

All withdrawals go to the original payment method. Exceptions are possible and may involve additional security checks.

For withdrawal issues with inaccessible or closed accounts, contact the platform’s customer support service.

Errors

In the event of an error or malfunction in the system or processes, all bets are rendered void. The user is obligated to immediately inform the platform upon becoming aware of any service related errors. Should system bugs, viruses, or other malfunctions impact the platform or lead to incorrect payments, the company holds no liability towards the user or any third party for direct or indirect costs or losses. The platform reserves the right to void the affected games/bets and take necessary actions to rectify the errors.

In cases of a malfunction in the casino system or disconnection issues, all bets are nullified. If a casino error occurs, including system failures or game lags affecting odds calculations, charges, bonuses, or currency conversions, the platform can declare null and void the relevant wagers and adjust your account accordingly.

While the platform strives to prevent line placement mistakes, it recognizes that human or system errors may occur. If a wager is accepted at odds significantly different from the prevailing market rates or clearly incorrect based on the probability of the event at the time of betting, the platform reserves the right to cancel or void it.

Lastly, the company has the right to refund any overpaid amounts and correct the user’s account due to any errors such as incorrect pricing or inputting results. In situations where funds are insufficient, the platform may require the user to repay all debts related to erroneous bets. As a result, any pending games, whether or not they were funded mistakenly, can be cancelled or even deleted by the platform.

Errors regarding events

If a matchap involving two correct teams is mistakenly placed in the wrong league category on the website, the game/match will still be active.

If an event does not occur on the announced date by the governing body, all wagers on it will be void. If an event is inaccurately dated on the platform, wagers will be settled based on the date specified by the governing body.

General Rules

Should a sport-specific rule conflict with a general rule, the specific one will take precedence. 

The winner of the event will be determined upon its settlement date. Contested and overturned decisions will not be recognized for wagering purposes. If an event is suspended after it has started, the result will be determined in accordance with the betting rules established by the platform for that sport.

All published results become final after 72 hours and no queries will be accepted after this period. Within 72 hours after the results have been published, the platform will only correct them due to human error, system failures or mistakes made by the source of the outcome.

The min and max betting amounts for sporting events are determined by the platform at its discretion and are subject to change without prior notice. In addition, the company can adjust the limits on individual accounts.

Clients are responsible for transactions on their accounts. It is important to check bets for errors before submitting them, as they cannot be changed after. The platform is not responsible for missing or duplicate wagers and will not consider discrepancy requests.You can review your transactions under “My Account” to ensure that all bets have been accepted.

For a wager to be valid on a named contestant in a Yes/No Proposition, the contestant must participate in the event.

Communications and Notices

All communications and notices from users to the platform should be directed to [email protected]. Messages and announcements sent by the platform to gamblers are posted on the website and/or sent to the registered email address on file with the client. All correspondence between clients and the company must be in writing in the English language.

Matters Beyond Our Control

The platform cannot be held responsible for service failures or delays due to Force Majeure events beyond its control. These can include:

• Natural disasters;
• Pandemics;
• Government actions;
• Telecommunication disruptions, and so on.

In such cases, the platform reserves the right to cancel or suspend the service without liability for resulting losses.

Liability

In accordance with applicable law, the platform shall not be responsible for any reasonably foreseeable direct or indirect loss or damage resulting from a breach of obligations under these T&C. The exception is if the platform violates any legal duty (including negligence resulting in death or personal injury), in which case it shall not be liable if the default is caused by:

• The user’s own actions;
• Actions of a third party unrelated to the operation of the platform (problems with communication networks, congestion, equipment, etc.);
• Unforeseen events that neither the platform nor its suppliers could have anticipated or prevented.

If the platform is found liable under these terms, its total liability to the user for any event shall not exceed:

• The total value of bets placed through the user’s account;
• 500 EUR total, whichever amount is less.

Clients are strongly advised to verify the website’s compatibility with their computer equipment before use. It is also recommended to take precautions against malicious programs or devices by installing antivirus software.

Gambling by Minors

If the platform suspects or is notified that a user is under 18 years old, the user’s account will be suspended to prevent further bets and withdrawals. The company will investigate to determine if the user has bet on behalf of someone underage. The consequences may be as follows:

• All current or pending winnings will be withheld;
• Winnings from underage betting must be returned to the platform upon request;
• Non-winning deposits will be refunded (this applies if the user is over 18 but betting in a jurisdiction with a higher legal age for gambling).

Fraud

The platform will pursue legal action against customers engaged in fraud, dishonesty, or criminal behaviour. Payment may be withheld if such activities are suspected. Customers are liable for all costs incurred, including direct and indirect losses.

Intellectual Property

The brand Satsport, including its logo, technology, software, business systems, are registered trademarks. Its ownership is exclusive. Written consent is required for usage. Unauthorized utilization may result in legal action.

Except explicitly stated, no rights are granted to clients for the systems or marks. Reproduction is prohibited. Your profile must not be for a commercial gain.

Your Licence

Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use of the platform’s services. Modification, sale, reproduction, or exploitation is prohibited without express permission. Non-compliance may result in legal consequences for intellectual property violations.

Your Conduct and Safety

The platform aims for your enjoyment on the website. Posting unlawful, inappropriate, or undesirable content is strictly prohibited. Engaging in such behavior may result in immediate termination of the account. Legal action may be taken against offenders. Prohibited actions include:

• Promoting false information;
• Engaging in illegal schemes;
• Harming minors, and more.

The service includes links to third party websites beyond our control. These links are provided for convenience only and are not monitored by the company for accuracy or completeness. Satsport does not endorse or have any responsibility for the content on these sites. Users should be cautious when visiting them. It is also recommended to review their policies and terms.

Complaints

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the platform’s T&C, contact customer service at [email protected]. To do this, use your registered email address. The company bears no liability for actions taken in response to complaints. 

If you are unsatisfied with a bet settlement, reach out to the customer service within 3 days of the decision. Claims after this period won’t be considered. If Satsport does not handle your request property, you are free to contact licensing bodies or Curaçao Internet Gaming Association.

Breach of These Terms

These terms will remain valid while you access or use the platform’s services or are a customer of Satsport, even after the termination of the profile. Breaching the platform’s T&C may lead to the suspension or termination of the account without prior notice. Prompt notification will be provided after any such action.
